FAQs

When Do I Get Paid?

You will not receive payment for your card immediately as you accept our appraisal. Once we receive your card with your unique reference number generated in the appraisal, we can verify that you are a legitimate seller and therefore pay you.

Do You Accept Other TCG Cards?

Unfortunately, as of right now, we only accept cards from the Pokemon Trading Card Game. Submissions of cards from any other game will be dismissed.

How Quickly Will I Receive An Appraisal?

All submissions will be met with an appraisal within 48 business hours of said submission.

What If My Card Is In Poor Condition?

Regardless of your card’s condition we will send an appraisal, however, as you could imagine, the condition of your card as well as the quality of the images sent weigh heavily on the value of your appraisal

Do You Accept Miscut / Error Cards?

We will accept any cards, and depending on how miscut the card is or how big the error is, it may even increase the value of your appraisal!

Why Do I Have To Print A Reference Number?

The reference number that you print is to verify that it is in fact your card we are receiving. This avoids confusion with many of the same cards being shipped to us or allowing us to compensate you on the off-chance the card never reaches us.

Repeat Sellers

I couldn’t sell my Shiny Charizard GX on eBay because of its terrible centering. I tried selling to WeBuyPokecards and they responded to me almost immediately. They received my card in about a week of my submission and gave me a nice wad of cash.

I’d had some of my kids’ old Pokémon cards stored away in a cupboard for a while. They told me the cards were too scratched and beaten to sell for a worthwhile price. I was determined to clear up some space which is when I found this site, who in fact took all of the cards off my hands and gave me a little change in return.

I’d been hanging on to a collection of trainer cards which I eventually intended on listing. However, after a while I just had too many and it was going to be so long before all of them actually sold. So, thanks to my impatience WeBuyPokeCards took care of it and I’ve got some change to spare.
